Well it's been a while

I am sorry it has been so long since my last post. School took over my life and I didn't have time for anything fun like blogging. But now that summer is here I am going to do my best to post regularly. I am also working on changing my blog layout so just bare with me.

Sequins Galore

Hello everyone! I am sorry it has been so long between school, work and being sick things have been pretty crazy. I hate its been so long since I've posted. Hopefully with school calming down for a bit, I will be able to get back to posting on a regular basis. So lets get back to it.

As you can tell by the name of my blog I LOVE sequins they are so shimmery and sparkley. Those are two of my favorite things. I have been seeing sequins on everything lately, shirts, jackets, pants, skirts, leggings and shoes. Adding a little sparkle to you wardrobe goes a long way. You don't need a lot, because then it becomes over whelming. By pairing a sequin shirt or sequin jacket with a pair of jeans and heels, you've got instant glamour. What a fabulous way to add a little sparkle this holiday season. You can also pair sequin leggings with a long solid color tunic and booties and you've got a great date night outfit (remember leggings are not pants, so your shirt needs to cover your bum). So go on girls and boys and add a little sparkle to your life.

Ja-ja-jaded

I love painting my nails. I try to keep them painted all the time, and I am always looking for new fun colors instead of the same old pink or red. The color I have been noticing alot in the magazines and on celebrities is Jade. It is a light/pale green. And yes I know what your thinking, this color looks like it should be worn during the Spring. Well, not so much. You don't have to wear only dark colors in the winter and light colors in the Spring, mix it up ladies...and gentlemen. This Jade color is perfect to brighten up any fall wardrode. My favorite shade of this color is by Chanel, and I mean how could you not love anything by Chanel...I die (love me some Rachel Zoe). So go on ladies....and gentlemen get out there and get that cheery color, put it on your nails and brighten up these dreary fall and winter days.

Pretty Woman Walking Down the Street

This is one of my favorite movies. And what makes it so great, well besides Julia and Richard? Her boots of course! Not only are they fabulous looking, but you can also use them as a purse (wink, wink). These over the knee boots are the latest fashion craze. You can pair these with a simple t-shirt and jeans or a short mini. Wearing these great knee high boots with skinny jeans and a blazer is a great way to look fabulous this fall. Taking this from Rachel Zoe, my second favorite person, Victoria Beckham is first, on her daily email I got about knee high boots she says to "use them as alternative to tights or leggings" which I think is so awesome. She gave one option of putting them together with "an oversized sweater and shorts" which I am so going to try. I don't really do the shorts thing but I am trying this one. They can get a little pricey but I believe this is a great investment and worth the splurge. Below are pictures of a splurge and a steal.

The first is the Gucci Over the Knee Boot, worn by Victoria Beckham at the Fashion's Night Out in New York City. Obviously these are the splurge they go for a mere $2950. But aren't they fabulous?!!!!

The second is from the Jessica Simpson Collection, Tulip knee high book in Black Cashmere Leather. These are a steal at $198. I have seen these in person and they are awesome. So cute and at a great price. Most of the shoes I own are Jessica Simoson's, I highly recommend her collection. Great style at a great price.
